GAME STILL ON TONIGHT

Just heard from the league, our game is still on for tonight.

We are on tonight at North Central, 6pm (last away game).

Thursday, we are back home at 6pm.

CONCESSION STAND FEE CANCELLED

I received an email from the league yesterday that said they are waving the concession stand fee this year. I will return the money to you have already paid.

LAST FRIDAY'S GAME HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED

This just in from the league...

They have decided to reschedule the game we missed on Friday, March 27.

We will make up that game THIS WEEK on WEDNESDAY NIGHT (April 1).

We will play at Northern Field 4, 6pm.

Obviously, this will mean NO practice on that night--we will be playing instead.

1. This will complete our inter-league play. Regular Season begins the week of April 19-25. I am still awaiting our regular season schedule. It will be posted ASAP.
2. REMINDER: As regular season begins, let me remind parents that each child has a $10 concession fee for the season. I will be happy to collect that fee from you after any inter-league game--I will turn our team money in once it is collected. The perk: your child will receive a free drink after every home game. OPENING CEREMONIES--THIS SATURDAY

Opening Ceremonies will be this Saturday at our park. The schedule is as follows:

10:00-11:45 am - Scrimmage Game 1

12:00-12:30 pm - OPENING CEREMONIES

1:00-2:45 pm - Scrimmage Game 2

Here are the details:

• Players are to fully dress in their uniforms.
• We will be called out and recognized on the field during the opening ceremonies
• The scrimmages are set up by the league and our players will be mixed in among 4 different teams of equal talent. They will play a full game.
• At this point, I do not know what time our kids will be playing. If the league gives this info to me by mid week I will post it on the blog.
• This is a fun day and your player will enjoy his time playing with the other kids from teams in our league.
• Hot dogs, hamburgers and such are usually available for purchase through the concession stand.

GAME 1 RESULTS

Parents,

Just wanted to let you know that I a proud of your boys--they did fine last night. We played one of the stronger teams we will see in the city last night; give or take a couple of plays and the game could have gone either way.

NEXT GAME: Be sure and check the blog due to weather changes. I will post as soon as I hear something from the league.

We do have one more practice--this Saturday at 10am-12pm on Field 4.

There will be NO Friday night batting practice.

Parents,

We had a tough time at the cages tonight due to the fact that all teams/leagues are in full swing now. We ended up trying to take batting practice in the only grassy area we could find.

Therefore, we will NOT HAVE BATTING PRACTICE on Friday night.

We will practice on Thursday and Saturday as scheduled.

The boys are doing great; the team is beginning to gel.

I am waiting on our game schedule for next week and will post it asap.
